The Machado Seaside Quad fins are the most popular quad set developed by Rob Machado — originally created for the iconic Seaside board and now compatible with any board in a quad setup. Inspired by the keel fins of his twin boards, they combine speed, projection, and flow in a single versatile configuration. Compatible with the Futures Single Tab system.

The origin of the design:

Instead of starting from a thruster set like most quad fins on the market, Rob Machado drew inspiration directly from the keel fins of his twin boards. The result is a configuration that preserves the acceleration and flow of keels, with the agility and versatility of a modern quad.

Evolution of the latest version:

• Front fins with a slightly more raked profile — better projection during acceleration
• Rear fins are more upright — quicker turning and greater control during maneuvers
• Reduced rake angle by 2°, fuller foil, and slightly stiffer construction
• Rear fins redesigned with a more curved profile and increased stiffness for better support during turns
• Approximately 15% lighter than the previous generation — total weight of only 0.27 kg
