The Firewire Dominator Pro surfboard is the natural evolution of the iconic Dominator 2.0, developed by Dan Mann to meet the demand for a high-performance shortboard. Ideal for surfers who have evolved technically and are looking for a more refined board, the Dominator Pro combines performance, control, and versatility for intense sessions at home or on surf trips.

With a narrower outline, less volume, and a slightly more curved rocker line from nose to tail, it maintains the essence of the original Dominator but offers a more precise and quick response. The bottom features a single, more pronounced concavity under the front foot, evolving into a double concavity between the fins and ending in a vee at the tip of the tail. This configuration provides excellent fluidity and quick transitions from rail to rail.

Made with Firewire's Helium Core technology, it combines lightness, durability, and dynamic response, thanks to its stringer-free EPS core and Paulownia and Balsa wood side reinforcements. The result is a reactive board with great speed capacity in everyday waves.

The Dominator Pro is suitable for waves from thigh-high to overhead tubes. It excels especially in powerful, curved conditions, such as hollow beach breaks and walled point breaks. For optimal performance, it's recommended to pair it with the Firewire Velox fin set—either thruster for versatility or quad, as Dan Mann prefers.

This board was designed for demanding surfers looking for a model with greater performance than the Dominator 2.0, but with a little more room to maneuver than a purely competitive model.
