Firewire EVO Surfboard by Tomo – Futuristic Design with a Levitation Feeling

The EVO is the evolution of Daniel "Tomo" Thomson's MPH (Modern Planing Hull) concept, now with smoother contours and greater curvature in the outline to promote more fluid transitions and surfing more “inside the wall” of the wave.

With a slightly more centered wide point than the Vader, the EVO was designed with small, weak waves in mind, offering excellent speed and flow on those slower days. However, as is typical of Tomo designs, it remains highly functional in larger, overhead waves.

What makes EVO truly innovative is its unique bottom:
Double inside single concave that transitions to a split quad concave — a glide engineering that gives the sensation of levitation over the water, with a quick response when placed on rail, providing precise sensitivity and great lateral control.

The board maintains an almost symmetrical outline and should be surfed as short as possible, with generous and accessible volumes, offering the perfect combination of radical performance and everyday usability.
