• 700-fill-power recycled down, derived from a blend of duck, goose, and other waterfowl down reclaimed from down products.

• 80g Thermogreen™ synthetic insulation in the cuffs and underarms, made from 100% recycled polyester, to maintain loft and reduce water absorption in these areas exposed to moisture and wear.

Resistant exterior and moisture protection: The outer fabric is a lighter version of the one used in Patagonia's Steel Forge workwear jackets. The high-strength Ultra-PE ripstop protects the insulation against abrasion, providing the robustness needed for demanding use in mountain environments. The shell and lining feature a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS.

Comfort and mobility in the mountains: The broad shoulders and stitch-through construction facilitate overhead movement, useful for climbing and other mountain activities. The Pertex® Quantum lining, lighter than the outer fabric, helps reduce bulk, improve mobility, and facilitate packability.

Care instructions to preserve the jacket: Machine wash cold, do not bleach. Tumble dry low, adding two tennis balls for best drying results. Do not iron or steam.
